Training at Castlefort

Local headmistress, Mrs Joanne Wilson, whose son, Harry plays for our 2009/10 Season under 10's team has very kindly obtained permission from the Castlefort Primary School Board of Governors to allow our teams to use facilities at the School for training purposes over the summer months, during weekday evenings and weekends. The School football pitch is presently being used on Wednesday evenings by Pelsall's under nines team and pupils from the school are invited to participate in training sessions as a gesture of gratitude on behalf of the Club. The School premises may also be made available to our Academy (ages 4 and older) and negotiations are in progress. The School is ideally enclosed and is located in Castlefort Road, Walsall Wood, Walsall, West Midlands, WS9 9JP..

Under-Thirteens Manager for the 2009/10 Season, Gareth Lloyd has been appointed the new Club Secretary following a unanimous vote from the Committee at the monthly meeting on the 7th July. Gareth will not be taking over Steve's "Soccer Sevens" duties however, this is now to be carried out by Club Chairman Darren. It also is unlikely he will be involved with the publishing of match fixtures and reports. Full details of all match fixtures can still be found on new the Club Website, which is now cross-linked to the Walsall Junior Youth, Lichfield Recreasional and Bilston Football League websites for easy reference, along with the locations and directions to all the match venues.
