Pelsall Villa Colts FC was founded in 1978 as Pelsall United by a local policeman, Lou Evans with a view to getting local youngsters off the streets. The Club currently has 16 teams, ranging from the age of under 6 ( the Academy) through to under the 21's and Veterans.

All of our Club Officials are FA qualified and DBS checked. All coaches are fully FA Licensed, First Aid, Child Safeguarding and minimun FA Level One qualified

Recent additions to the Management Committee are Chris Edwards, (Welfare, Compliance and now club Secretary and Andrew Bond is Vice Chairman and Football Development Officer as well as managing two teams and Club Chairman is currently Geoffrey Clarkson.

operates our Junior Academy and our newest recruit to the management team is Jessica Barker who currently runs the Little Lionesses Academy.

James Dutton has undertaken the role of Ladies section Coordinator and Keith Grimsley is the newly appointed Covid-19 Officer.

Pelsall United became Pelsall Villa Colts in 1991 and the youth team was the first to play under floodlights at the Bush Ground, at the rear of the Bush Public House on Pelsall Common, which was the home of now defunct Pelsall Villa AFC, (which was not associated with Pelsall Villa Colts FC despite the name similarity). Club Chairman of the day Darren Hodgkiss succeeded Steve Rochelle who had been involved with the Club for 24 years, as a committee member, vice chairman and finally chairman.

Recently retired John Coleman, Vice Chairman has been involved with the Club for twenty eight years. John has now been succeeded by Andrew Bond.

Club Treasurer Alan Kent has been with the Club for the same number of years. Gareth Lloyd, (now succeded by Chris Edwards) was appointed Club Secretary in July 2009 as successor to Steve Coyne who, as well as managing two teams, produced and published the Clubs' first Website, drafted the Club Constitution and was instrumental in obtaining FA Charter Development status for Pelsall Villa Colts in 2007.

The Club subsequently went on to acheive FA Community Club Status which is the highest accolade in Grassroots Football

Our teams currently play in the Walsall Junior Youth Football League, the Bilston Partnership Youth League, the Lichfield & District Recreational League and the Staffordshire Girls League.

Pelsall Villa Colts FC Currently has a multi-team Academy and young adult football club operating in The Gambia, in West Africa.
