Pelsall
Villa Colts F.C. was formed in 1978 as Pelsall United
by a local policeman, Lou Evans with a view to getting
local youngsters off the streets. The Club currently has
16 teams, ranging from the age of under 6 ( the Academy)
through to under the 21's and Veterans. The teams play
in the Walsall Junior Youth Football League, the Bilston
Partnership Youth League and the Lichfield & District
Recreational League.
Pelsall United became Pelsall Villa Colts in 1991 and
the youth team was the first to play under floodlights
at the Bush Ground, at the rear of the Bush Public house
on Pelsall Common, which is now the home of Pelsall Villa
FC, (Not associated with Pelsall Villa Colts). |
